Nikhil Panu - Founder of Squadz

Johns Hopkins Men's Basketball Player Turned Entrepreneur

*New Content For Subscribers*

We’re rolling out a new feature exclusively for our Substack subscribers this week. Just a little thank you for being some of the first to join us on this platform and for all the feedback you’ve provided so far!

Previously we would only post a few short video clips from each Student-Athlete Sessions interview on Youtube or Twitter. Now, Substack subscribers will get access to the full audio before anyone else.

That means you get the entire, unscripted conversation between us and our guests each week as we tackle a new topic in the world of Division 3 Sports. This week’s interview is from our conversation with Nikhil Panu - Episode 30 of the Student-Athlete Sessions.

As always, let us know if you have any questions you want us to ask future guests and we’ll be sure to work them into our next interview.

Inside the Ep. - Nikhil Panu (JHU ‘17)

Nikhil Panu (Johns Hopkins ‘17) is a former Division 3 student-athlete turned entrepreneur. As the founder of Squadz, an app designed to help people discover sports activities & venues around them, Nikhil has been able to combine his passion for sport and his computer science major from JHU.

In this episode, Nikhil walks us through his own D3 sports recruiting journey that led him to Johns Hopkins as well the camps and strategies he used to land college offers.

He shares advice for D3 college visits and what he did on his visit to Johns Hopkins with the team that actually convinced him to attend.

Tune in and let us know what you think! We’ll be posting short videos on Twitter, IG, and YouTube soon.
